Charles Wayne Wallace

Mr. Charles Wayne Wallace, 61, of Biloxi, MS, died Wednesday, November 11, 2009, in Biloxi. Mr. Wallace was a native and lifelong resident of Biloxi. He was a member of the Episcopal Church of The Redeemer and formerly employed with the Biloxi Fire Department. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of Vietnam and retired from Biloxi V. A. Medical Center. Mr. Wallace was preceded in death by his parents, John M. and Dorothy Wentzell Wallace. He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Turnock Wallace of Biloxi; his son, John Jason Wallace of Shreveport, LA; step-daughter, Tammy Wheeler of Gulfport; step sons, Thomas Wheeler of Long Beach, and Tim Wheeler of Saucier; brother, John Marshall Wallace, Jr. of Woolmarket; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 17, 2009, at Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors. In lieu of flowes, the family prefers donations to the American Cancer Society, 417 Security Square, Gulfport, MS 39507.
