Charlotte Byrd Noble

Mrs. Charlotte Byrd Noble, 71, of Ocean Springs, MS, died Friday, September, 18, 2009, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Noble was born August 16, 1938, in Ocean Springs and remained a lifelong resident. She was a member of Belle Fountain Baptist Church and was retired from Ocean Springs High School where she was employed as a secretary. She was a member of Ocean Springs BPW, Merry Makers and the Krewe of Athena Carnival Clubs. Mrs. Noble was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Vera Miller Byrd; and brothers, Oswald Byrd and Frank Byrd. Survivors include her husband, Royce Noble; daughter, Stephanie Noble (David) Yeager, both of Ocean Springs, daughter, Cindy Noble (John) Bartges of Houston; grandchildren, Allie Bartges and Lindsey Bartges of Houston, Tyler Noble Gibson of Ocean Springs; sisters, Susan Heidelberg of Pascagoula, Hilda McKee of Ocean Springs; brothers, Larry Byrd of Horn Lake, MS, and Tommy Byrd of Ocean Springs; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation is Sunday, September 20, 2009, from 5 until 9 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Monday at Belle Fountain Baptist Church where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
