Cheryl Sue Kostmayer Terry, 48, of Ocean Springs died Wednesday, August 7, 2019.
Cheryl was a member of Nativity B.V.M Cathedral and very involved with the church and elementary school, where she worked. She also worked at Burger Burger and loved visiting with all the regulars where they became like family to her. She was a remarkable woman, daughter, mother, sister and friend to so many. She did so much for so many lives, she will be truly missed but never forgotten.
Mrs. Terry is preceded in death by her Great Aunt and Uncle, Alfred and Fay Carlin; her grandparents, Edwin and Lois Jacquet and Clifford and Dorothy Kostmayer; and her uncle, Kurt Jacquet, Sr.
She is survived by her husband, George "Fizzle” Terry; her sons, Brandon and Zane Terry; her daughters, Ariana and Zori Terry; her parents, Lois and Harry Kostmayer, Sr.; her sister, Cherie Broome; and her brothers, Harry, Jr. and Kevin (April) Kostmayer. The list could go on and on, but she has many, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends that she made a huge impact on.
The family would like to thank Dr. Smith, Dr. Hightower, Jessica and Regina and all the nurses on the 4th and 5th floor of Gulfport Memorial Hospital for the kind and compassionate care they gave Cheryl.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to St. Vincent de Paul of Nativity, 870 Howard Avenue, Biloxi, MS 39530 or to Cheryl’s family to help with unexpected expenses.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Nativity B.V.M Cathedral at 11:00 am. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until Mass time. Entombment will be at Biloxi City Cemetery, with a reception following at Nativity Sacred Heart Center.
