Captain Christiaan Johan Le Fevre de Montigny, of Ocean Springs, MS sailed off into the sunset on October 22, 2013, in Ocean Springs, MS.
He was born in The Hague, Holland on June 26, 1930 to Gillis Le Fevre de Montigny
and Tina Du Croo. He was a 1st Lieutenant in the Dutch Navy Reserve and after extensive study became a Master Mariner. Later in life he was a port captain.
This life long career kept him outdoors and on the water which he loved.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Virginia Chunn Ronsonet Le Fevre de
Montigny; his children, Amanda Le Fevre de Montigny (Kenny Henriques), Gillis Le
Fevre de Montigny (Ilene), Tina Shepard, Stacie Ronsonet Leng (Eric) and Warren
John Ronsonet, Jr.; eight grandchildren and 6 great- grandchildren; his sister, Wil
Van Boven Le Fevre de Montigny and her family; countless friends worldwide; and his two beloved pets, Rocky and Cash.
His family and friends will celebrate his life on Dalmatian Island, Houston, TX in the Spring of 2014.
