Christine Elizabeth Park

Mrs. Christine Elizabeth (Battise) Park, age 43, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Tuesday, December 11, 2007, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Park was a lifelong resident of the coast. She sang in the choir at Big Ridge Baptist Church in D'Iberville where she was also a nursery worker. She was a member of the D'Iberville Moose Lodge #332 and the Scorpions Dart Team. Mrs. Park had a strong belief and faith in God and love for her family. She was preceded in death by her father, Rufus Battise, Sr. and brother, Steven Battise. Survivors include her husband of four years, Anthony Park of Ocean Springs, MS., her mother, Gloria Sisler of Orange, MA., a sister, Nancy Lincks, brother, Rufus Battise, Jr., nephew, Glenn Lincks, nieces, Miranda Clark, Sierra Clark and Savanna Clark, all of Biloxi, MS., and a special family, Jim and Helen Sumrall of Ocean Springs, MS. Visitation will be on Saturday, December 15, 2007, from 10-11 AM, with an 11 AM chapel service, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
