Christopher Bush

Mr. Christopher J. "Chris" Bush, age 19, of Gautier, MS., went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 2, 2006. Mr. Bush was born in Fort Hood, Texas. He had been a resident of Gautier for the past 11 years. Chris was a 2005 graduate of Gautier High School and was attending Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, Jackson County Campus. He was an avid fisherman and a member of the First Baptist Church of Gautier. Chris was preceded in death by his grandmother, Patricia Ann Patterson, grandfathers, James E. Bush, Jr., and Clarence Buchanan, and a great-grandfather, Roscoe C. "R.C." Blackwell. He is survived by his parents, James and Deana B. Bush of Gautier, a sister, Amy Kay Bush of Gautier, grandmother, Mildred Inez Bush of Alexandria, AL., grandfather, Kenneth R. Patterson of Ocean Springs, MS., great-grandmother, Opal A. Blackwell of Mobile, AL., and aunts and uncles, Richard Bush of Alexandria, AL., Ray and Amanda Patterson of Wingate, N.C., and Ann and Rich LaSalle of Gulfport, MS. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 5, 2006, from 5-9 PM, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Friday, January 6, 2006, there will be a 10 AM church service at the First Baptist Church of Gautier, where friends may call from 9-10 AM. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Cemetery in Gautier.
