Mr. Christopher Wayne Pratt, 17, of Woolmarket, passed away in his sleep and joined his Nona in Heaven on Monday, September 3, 2007. Christopher was born in Biloxi, Mississippi on September 27, 1989 at Biloxi Regional Medical Center. He was a member of the Cedar Lake United Methodist Church. Christopher loved to fish and hunt. He was a very talented athlete where he excelled in baseball and football. Christopher played for the D'Iberville Warriors in his Freshman and Sophomore years. In his Junior year he transferred to Biloxi High School where he played as a starting tackle and excelled academically. His life long dream was to become an Attorney. Christopher was the type of young man that his friends or family could call upon day or night and he would do anything for them. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his favorite grandmother, Nona Ethel Handler and his grandfather, Aurther Pratt. Survivors include grandfather "Papa" Sammy Handler, parents, Connie and Kevin Pratt, three sisters, Jessica, Rachael and Lindsey Pratt, all from Woolmarket. Survivors also include Uncle Morris and Aunt Carolyn Handler of Biloxi, MS, grandmother, Sally Pratt of Biloxi, Aunt Thurese Hall and Aunt Tonia Rockwell of Folsom, CA, Uncle Delton J. Coleman, Brent and Bobbie Hodge of Biloxi, MS. Family has set up an account at Coast Community Bank to benefit Biloxi First, an Educational Grant Program for Biloxi Public Schools. Visitation is Friday, September 7, 2007 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home. Service is Saturday, September 8, 2007, 2:30 p.m. at the First Pentecostal Church Popps Ferry Rd., Biloxi. Friends may visit from 12:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Interment will follow at the Biloxi City Cemetery. View and sign register book at www.bradfordokeefe.com
