Claire Tewfik Ibrahim

Claire Ibrahim, 89 of Biloxi, Mississippi, formerly from Cairo, Egypt, passed away quietly in the comfort of her own home on Thursday, June 1, 2023.  She was born January 2, 1934 in Cairo, Egypt to her parents, Tewfik Ibrahim of Egypt and Angele of Lebanon.  She moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1991 to be close to her children, then finding her way to the Gulf Coast in late 2000.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her older sister, Jeanette Sobhi of Egypt; and by her beloved husband, Youssef Mikhail (2002).  She survived by her son, Magdy Mikhail (Melissa Benke) of Biloxi and her daughter, Nadine Maalouf (Moussa) of Biloxi; 3 grandchildren, Carina (24), Julian (20), and Gabriella (19); her younger sister, Viola Nassif of Egypt; and her nieces, Adel and Mervat Sobhi, Maged and Dahlia Nassif of Egypt and Mona Sobhi of England.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. Friends may visit from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. in Biloxi, Mississippi.
