Clara Emma Hardee

Clara Emma Hardee, 95, of Biloxi, MS died Wednesday, November 30, 2016 in Biloxi. Mrs. Hardee was a native and lifelong resident of the coast. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clara and Alphonse Mathieu; her brothers, Gordon, Howard and Hurley Mathieu; her husband, Houston Hardee; her children, Joan Fourtunia and Joseph Hardee; and her great-grandson, Kaleb Miller. Mrs. Hardee’s survivors include her brothers, Cassie Mathieu and Campie (Zola) Mathieu; her children, Clara Bishop, Susan (George) Miller and Marvin Hardee; her grandchildren, Lynn (Cindy) Mallette, Cindy Coney, Brian (Nicole) Miller, Allan (Tammy) Miller, Toynia (Sky) Powers, Kim (Greg) Turk and Franklin McDaniel; and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Funeral Services will be held at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Monday, December 5, 2016 at 11:00 am. Friends may visit from 10:00 am until service time. Interment will follow at Cruthirds Memorial Cemetery.
