Claudia Theresa Henley

Claudia Theresa Henley, 81, of Biloxi, MS passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by family on Thursday, March 6, 2025. Claudia was born January, 27, 1944 in Biloxi to Theresa Saujon Tauscher and Robert Bilancich.

She graduated from Biloxi High School in 1962. Throughout her life, Claudia enjoyed music, dancing, reading, cooking, and watching her shows on Masterpiece Theatre. She was a current member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Slavonian Lodge. She also enjoyed her long standing monthly card group, as well as her newer adventure of learning to play Pokeno. Claudia was a longtime member of Biloxi Yacht Club and enjoyed many years of boating and fishing on the “Mazie”. She was very involved in Mardi Gras, and was a past member of the Gulf Coast Carnival Association, Bilikens and Bonne Vivantes. One of Claudia’s favorite things to do was to have lunch with her girlfriends at Mary Mahoney’s. She had a beautiful home that she enjoyed decorating for the holidays and having family together. Claudia was a current member and loyal supporter of the Humane Society of South MS. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and doting Nona to Cole, who will be missed by all.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her spouse of 58 years, Ernest “Butch” Frank Henley Jr; son, Gregory Joseph Henley; brother, Broderick Bilancich; and niece, Bernadette Bilancich.

Survivors include her children, Tamara “Tami” (Trip) Piazza Villarraubia, and Kara (Brian) Elizabeth Hunter; grandchildren, Cole Jame Piazza; and her loving pets, Buddy and Dasher.

A funeral service will be held Friday, March 21, 2025 at 1:00pm, with visitation an hour prior, at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Friends are invited to visit one hour prior.

The family would like to express sincere gratitude to all friends for their love, support, laughter and good times during her life.
