Clement Weems, Jr.

Mr. Clement Weems, Jr. age 84, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Thursday, January 28, 2010 in Biloxi, MS. Mr. Weems was a longtime resident of the coast and was a U. S. Navy Veteran of WWII. He was employed with Weems Seafood for a number of years and a resident of Ocean Springs Nursing Home for the past 8 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clement and Pauline Bronze Weems, brother Eric Weems, and sisters, Ola Kelly, Verna Mae Cook and Theresa Weems. Survivors include four daughters, Linda Jones of McHenry, MS., Delta Richards of Biloxi, MS., Sharolyn (Lucy) Nagy of Biloxi, MS., and Brenda Weems of Collins, MS., two sons, Fred (Bo) Weems of Ocean Springs, MS., and Tony Weems of Collins, MS., one sister, Audrey Griffin of Vancleave, MS., one brother, Jerry Weems of Saucier, MS., one niece, Rose Marie Blanchard of Ocean Springs, MS., twelve grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Monday, February 1, 2010 from 8 AM - 9 AM with a 9 AM Service all at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi, MS.
