Cletta "Joan" Duncan Gray

Cletta “Joan” Duncan Gray, age 80, of Gulfport, MS passed away Monday, October 2, 2023 in Gulfport, MS,

She was born August 25, 1943 in Doniphan, MO to Eugene Arvis Duncan and Lelia Mary Robinson Duncan Longnecker. Joan worked at many military bases around the world and volunteered with other SeaBee wives to organize Christmas events for the kids.  She was nominated and elected SeaBee Queen.  Joan enjoyed traveling, sewing and spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in by her parents; sister, Venita Jean Goluba; son, Duane R. Gray; and grandchildren, Shavon Gray and Sabrina Dennis.

Joan is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Gordon Duane Gray; son, Gordon Eugene Gray (Joan); daughter, Bobbie Jean Dennis; grandchildren: Joshua Gray, Rachel Gray, Tabatha Dennis-Long, Travis Wayne Dennis (Melanie), Shena M. Richardson (Doyle),and Nicole Dennis; great-grandchildren, Grace Byrd, Hannah Byrd, Jameson Long, James Andrew Dennis, Michael Dennis, Ariana Michelle Richardson, Xarian Doyle Richardson, and Xavian Travis Richardson; and sisters, Sheila Mary Huhn, Sharon Peggy Plocinski, and Kathryn Sue Mitchell.

Visitation will be held from 10:45 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 1726 15^th Street, Gulfport. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15^th Street, Gulfport is honored to serve the Gray family.
