Clyde W. "Buck" Jackson

Clyde "Buck" Jackson, age 78, of Saucier, died Sunday, August 12, 2007 in Saucier. He was born in Jones County, Ms and had been a resident of the Gulf Coast for over forty years. Mr. Jackson proudly served in the U. S. Army as first Sargent for over 22 years and served in Korean and Vietnam Wars. He always had a flag flying at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Bessie Jackson. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Nancy Landrum Jackson; six children, Clyde Jackson, Jr. and wife Jeri of Hawaii, Dr. Shelton Jackson and wife, Diane of Texas, Sandra Greeson and husband, Hugh of Georgia, Dennis Jackson and wife, Mary of Ms, Barbara Jackson of Texas, and Ronald Jackson of MS; eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Juanita Blackledge of Laurel and Helen Windom of Baton Rouge, LA; and three brothers, Robert Jackson of Denver, CO, Ray Jackson of Jacksonville, AR, and J.D. Jackson of Arlington, TX . Visitation will be held Tuesday evening, August 14, 2007 from 6 until 8:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport. The funeral service will be Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery with full military honors.
