CMSGT John Shannon Morrison, USAF Ret., 61, of Biloxi, MS died on Monday, February 8, 2010. Mr. Morrison was the son of Ida "Taddy" Meighen Morrison and Claude J. Morrison. He was born in Steubenville, OH on January 1, 1949. Mr. Morrison was retired from Keesler Air Force Base after 27 years of honorable service. He was a member of the Masonic Temple, Keesler Chief's Group and Air Force Sergeants Assoc. Mr. Morrison is preceded in death by his father, Claude J. Morrison; brother, C. Douglas Morrison of Steubenville, OH. He is survived by his mother, Ida "Taddy" Morrison of Steubenville, OH; son, John D. Morrison and wife, Kim of Biloxi, MS; daughter, Cynthia C. Tansey and husband, Pat (PO1, USN) of Biloxi, MS; six grandchildren, Justin Morrison, Joel Steager, Donavon Morrison, Thomas Tansey, Trinity Morrison and Shannon Tansey. Funeral Services will be on Friday, February 12, 2010 at 2:00 pm at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Gulfport. Friends may visit from 1:00 pm until service time. Interment will be on Monday, February 15, 2010 at 10:00 am at Biloxi National Cemetery with full military honors. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Pass Road, West Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
