Col. Wickliff Hooper Horne

Col. Wickliff Hooper Horne, age 88, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Tuesday, January 31, 2006, in Biloxi, MS. Col. Horne was a resident of the community for 29 years. He retired from the U.S. Air Force as a pilot with more than 30 years. He was a Protestant. He was preceded in death by a son, Wickliff Steven Horne, his parents, and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife, Sarah E. Horne of Ocean Springs, MS., two sons, Douglas F. (Ruth) Horne of Bogalusa, LA., and Gregory W. Horne of Ocean Springs, MS., and a grandson, Donald S. Horne, also of Ocean Springs, MS. On Friday, February 3, 2006, there will be a 10 AM graveside service at Biloxi National Cemetery. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
