Conard James Ferguson

Mr. Conard James Ferguson, 93, of St. Martin, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2009, surrounded by his loving family in Vancleave. Mr. Ferguson was preceded in death by his wife, Willmetti Ferguson; son, Carlton Ferguson of Vancleave; brother, Thomas "Pete" Ferguson of St. Martin; and sister, Doris Kasovich of Biloxi. He is survived by his daughter, Elzie Mae Davis of Latimer; sons, Rodney Ferguson, Lanny Ferguson and Conard E. "Boo" Ferguson all of St. Martin; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Gloria Broome, Kelly Kates, Sherry Bird and family for all of their help during this difficult time. A very special thanks to Buck and Kathy Buckheister for opening their home to him, and Nancy Buckheister for all of her special help. We also wish to extend our thanks to Odyssey Hospice for the care and attention they provided. Visitation is Monday, February 2, 2009, from 6 until 8 p.m., Rosary at 7 p.m., at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Bosarge Cemetery in St. Martin.
