Constance Joy Parkes

Mrs. Constance Joy Parkes, of Biloxi, MS, went to be with her Lord Sunday, February 21, 2010, in Biloxi. Connie was born in Ada, Ok, and was raised in Denison, TX. She has been a resident of Biloxi since 1966. Connie was a member of First Baptist Church in Biloxi and was a faithful supporter of the youth group, Biloxi Teens for Christ, WMU, Missions and many other charities. Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Lamar Parkes; daughter, Lelisa Lynn Parkes; parents; a sister and a brother. She is survived by her sister, Janette Coonrod of Ft. Worth, TX; numerous friends and church family. Visitation is Wednesday, February 24, 2010, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 675 Howard Avenue, in Biloxi. Funeral services are 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
