Constance Campano Seymour, 77, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015 in her Ocean Springs home surrounded by her family.
Connie was born in Schenectady, NY. She graduated from Mount Pleasant High School with honors and was an Executive Secretary for General Electric where she met her husband Mark M. Seymour, Sr. The soul mates were moved by GE to Singapore, Brazil and New Orleans until they moved to Ocean Springs, MS where they raised their three children. Connie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Her deepest devotion was to her Lord and she shared her faith through active participation at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Her grandchildren were everything to her and were what kept her moving forward after losing her husband.
She made this world a better place and was referred to as saintly, well before her illness. Grace, kindness and love emanated from every pore in her being. Connie was loved and cherished by everyone who knew her. She was the most kind, generous and loving person. Her beauty was everlasting, throughout the pain and harshness of her illness, and to the end.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Mark M. Seymour, Sr.; her mother, Josephine Famiano Campano; her father, Steven Campano, Sr.; and her brother, Steven “Sonny” Campano, Jr.
Connie’s survivors include her children, Patricia Seymour, Mark M. Seymour, Jr. (Amanda) and Karen Seymour-Stauts (David); her sister, Marie Klatt (Gus); her grandchildren, Joseph Grispart, Kendyl Stauts, Luke Stauts, Mark M. Seymour, III, Hayden Stauts, Claudia Quave and Jace Quave; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
