Cooper B. "CB" Davis

Cooper B. Davis, Sr. 87, of Pineville died Thursday, April 2, 2015 in Saucier. Mr. Davis was born in Harrison County, where he was a lifelong resident. He was a member of Persimmon Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Davis was a retired ceramic tile installer and previously served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lois Davis. Survivors include four daughters; Barbara Connolly of Pineville, Catherine (Wayne) Moran and Cynthia (Brian) Simmons, both of Saucier, and Carolyn (Ricky) Sullivan of Woolmarket; two sons, Cooper B. (Amy) Davis, Jr. of Pineville and Gary Wayne (Judy) Davis of Perkinston; a sister, Eleanor Ladner of Kiln; a brother, Bill Davis of Pineville; 22 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. The funeral service will be Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 12:00 noon at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, O’Neal Road of Gulfport. Family and friends may visit beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be held at the New DeLisle Cemetery with honors by the U.S. Army.
