Coy Casey Quesenberry, Sr.

Mr. Coy Casey Quesenberry, Sr., age 81, of Ocean Springs, MS., passed away into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, January 10, 2010. Coy was born on November 11, 1928, to Glen and Zella Quesenberry in Rossmore, West Virginia. He served his country in the United States Navy and then retired after 38 years working as a Nursing Assistant and Physical Therapy Assistant for the VA Hospital. Following his retirement he was employed for 15 years as an Assistant Funeral Director for Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Coy was a faithful and beloved member of Belle Fountain Baptist Church in Ocean Springs. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, two sisters, one grandchild and several relatives and friends. Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Gloria K. Quesenberry of Ocean Springs, seven children and their families, Janice (Gary) Hess of Smithfield, VA, Ronald (Pam) Quesenberry of Olive Branch, MS, Peggy (Gary) Hartman of Gautier, MS, Debra (Larry) Feather of Titusville, FL, Coy Casey (Leah) Quesenberry, Jr. of Quinlan, TX, Sharon King of Denham Springs, LA, and Glenn (Ruth) Quesenberry of McKinney, TX, a sister, Berlene Hale of Galax, VA, and his precious eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 12, 2010, from 6 PM - 8 PM, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Wednesday, January 13, 2010, there will be an 11 AM church service at Belle Fountain Baptist Church, 7900 Fountainbleu Rd., Ocean Springs, where visitation will be from 10 AM - 11 AM. Reverend Larry Darden will be officiating. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to the Building Fund at Belle Fountain Baptist Church or to the charity of choice. The family wishes to thank the caring staff of Hospice of Light of Gautier and We Care Hospice in Moss Point for the loving care which they provided during his final days.
