C.P. O. Henry Austin Terry U.S.N., Ret.

C.P.O. Henry A. Terry, U.S.N. Ret.; age 75, died on Sunday, November 18, 2007 in Biloxi, MS. Mr. Terry was born in Biloxi and had been a long time resident of Ocean Springs. He retired from the United States Navy after twenty years of service, was the owner of Henry's Home Maintenance and a member of St. John's Episcopal Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry J. Terry and Mena Ross-Terry; sisters, Dorothy Toche, Ruth Thibodeaux and Elvera Higgens; brothers, George E. "Bunk" Terry and Chester H. Terry. Survivors include his wife of two and a half years, Rita Mae Franko-Terry; daughters, Frances "Fran" (Robert) Thomas, Cynthia (Michael) Upton; son, Paul (Kim) Terry; sisters, Vivian Rogers, Ruby (Horace) Gautier, Doris Weems, Mena Koch and Eleanor Chappell; stepdaughter, Denise Stevenson; stepson, David Hood, Jr., thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at St. John's Episcopal Church, where friends may visit two hours prior to service. Burial to follow at Biloxi National Cemetery at 12:30 with Full Military Honors. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.
