Curtis "Curtie" Ray Harris Jr.

Curtis “Curtie” Ray Harris Jr, 55, of Vancleave MS, entered Heaven's gates on Wednesday, April 26th, 2023 after battling cancer. He was surrounded by family and friends at the time of his passing. He was born in Lucedale, MS on February 21st, 1968.

Curtie was a selfless man who was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He enjoyed spending time outdoors with family and friends, everything from hunting, fishing, boating or even just a good cookout. He was always the life of the party and guaranteed to have you laughing at his jokes.

Curtie was predeceased by his beautiful granddaughter, Gracelynn Harris.

Curtie is survived by his parents, Curtis Sr and Audrey Harris; two sons, Jeremy (Hannah) Harris and Jonathan (Olivia) Harris; two daughters, Lauren (Tommy) Edwards, and Ashlyn (Jimmie) Feo. He is also survived by one brother, Richard (Rita) Harris; two sisters, Darlana (Dennis) Ryan, and Katrina (Richard) Byers; and many grandchildren, neices and nephews, and close friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, May 1st, 2023 at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home from 12PM to 1PM with a service to follow at 1PM.
