Curtis Fryou

Curtis Eugene Fryou, 69, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away Thursday, October 10, 2024. Curtis was born January 23, 1955 in Biloxi, MS to Charles and Elsie Fryou.

Curtis graduated from Biloxi High School. Following high school, he attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, where he received his associates degree. After graduating, Curtis joined the Coast Guard. Once his time in the Coast Guard ended, he began working for the Jackson County School District. Curtis loved to be on the water. In his free time, he enjoyed boating and playing his drum set.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Elsie Fryou; siblings, Charles Lee Fryou and Glenda Conrad; and grandchild, Mylee Sullivan.

Survivors include his wife, Selina Fryou; children, Carrie (Daniel) Sullivan, Chris (Kaila) Fryou, Amy McDonnell, and Kelly McDonnell; and grandchildren, Marianna and Annslee Sullivan, Noah and Bexleigh Fryou, Letteigh and Matthew McDonnell, and Bella and Lakelen McDonnell.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Friends are invited to visit one hour prior. Interment will follow at Southern Memorial Park.
