Dale Reneé Underhill Collins

Dale Reneé Underhill Collins, of Gulfport, died Saturday, February 3, 2018 in Gulfport. Mrs. Collins was born October 2, 1962 in Norfolk, VA to RMC (U.S. Navy Ret.) James M. and Mary P. Underhill. She was a life member of V.F.W. Post 2539 Auxiliary. She was also a member of Gulfport Heights Baptist Church. She was very much a child of Christ. Mrs. Collins had a big heart filled with love for all, and always saw the good in everyone. Dale is preceded in death by her grandparents, Dudley C. and Julia B. Palmer, of Gulfport, and John A. and Lillian Underhill, of Bishop, CA. Dale was the loving mother of two children, Shalynn Marie Collins Stovall, and Joshua Edward Collins (Chelsea), of Gulfport. Other survivors include her sisters and brother, Cynthia J. Garrison (Tracey) of Tucson, AZ, Vincent J. Underhill, of Sanford, FL, Monica L. Domingues, of AZ, and Mary W. Houchen (Brad) of St. Cloud, FL. She went through much hurt and pain as she suffered with asthma, diabetes, high blood pressure, COPD, seizures, and was hospitalized quite often due to illness. She has no more pain and hurting and is now in the arms of our Lord. Rest in peace Mom. We all love you. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 9:00 am. until 10:00 a.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport.
