Mr. Dale L. Holm, of Ocean Springs, MS., passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2009, in Ocean Springs.
Mr. Holm was born on July 25, 1925, in Sioux City, Iowa, to Mr. Enoch Holm and Iva Stansbury Holm, both deceased. He served in the United States Army and was decorated a World War II veteran. He earned his living as an electronical engineer after graduating from DeVry Technical Institute. His largest success in life was the joy he brought to all around him. Mr. Holm was married for 48 years to the late Etta Rose (Burt) Holm.
Survivors include a brother, Arne Holm of Summerdale, Florida, sisters, Helen Genke, Gladys Westphal and Arlene Burkhardt, a son, Dennis D. Holm of Salem, Wisconsin, daughter, Sandra Marie Randall of Daphne, Alabama, six grandchildren, James C. Hafferkamp of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, Deanna Vlach of Burlington, Wisconsin, Tina Mathers of Gulfport, Mississippi, Dennis Holm, Jr. of Sheldon, Wisconsin, Donald Holm of Salem, Wisconsin, and Kristen Favia of Cincinnati, Ohio, and five great-grandchildren, Robert Collin Holm, Brianna Vlach of Burlington, Wisconsin, Kathryne Marshall of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Marisa and James A. Hafferkamp, both of Ocean Springs, Mississippi.
Visitation will be on Saturday, October 10, 2009, from 1 PM - 3 PM, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home.
