Dale Arnold Snyder

Dale Arnold Snyder was born on February 25, 1947 and passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 30, 2023 surrounded by family after a brief illness.

Dale was lifelong resident of Ocean Springs, MS. He married his wife Deborah Pitalo-Snyder in April of 1986. Together they shared 5 children, 13 grandchildren, and 1 great-granddaughter. 

Dale was a 1965 graduate of Ocean Springs High School and was an avid sportsman in high school, specifically football. He was a man of God and enjoyed reading and studying the bible with his wife Deborah. Dale loved all sports and he was a natural comedian. His presence could light up a room. He never met a stranger. He had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need.

Dale was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

Dale was preceded in death by his father, Edward C. Snyder and his mother, Vivian Steelman – Crysell; and a brother, William “Billy” Moore.

Left to cherish his memories are his beloved wife, Deborah Pitalo-Snyder of Ocean Springs, MS; 5 children, Jeff (Lilly) of Dallas, TX, Robby (Leah) of Ocean Springs, MS, Jody of Phoenix, AZ, Rachel of Ocean Springs, MS and Jude (Wesley) of Stonewall, LA; 13 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 1 sister, June Shaw of Troy, AL; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home on Porter Avenue in Ocean Springs, MS from 9:30 am until 10:00 am followed by a 10:00 am memorial service.
