Dale Stephen Adams

Mr. Dale Stephen Adams, age 51, died at his home in Biloxi after a courageous battle with cancer. Dale will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father and generous friend who inspired each of us to strive to see the wonders of our world through new eyes. He did this with a wry sense of humor that those who were privileged to know him personally will never forget. He will be profoundly missed by those whose lives he touched, but he leaves behind the greatest gifts: a thirst for knowledge, the desire to understand and the wisdom to use our minds to better our world. Dale touched many lives with his winning smile, sparkling eyes and his ability to make people laugh. He will be deeply missed by family members, friends and co-workers that knew and loved him. Dale worked for Pitalo's Body shop in Ocean Springs for 25 years and due to his employment he became lifelong friends with Johnny Pitalo. Dale then joined State Farm insurance where he was a claims adjuster for the past 10 years. He quickly became not only a valued employee, but part of a dedicated team and the State Farm family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Phyllis Adams and a brother Darrell Adams. Dale is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Lisa (Robinson) Adams. Dale and Lisa were not only husband and wife but best friends. They were a unique couple who complimented and supported each other in all they did. Dale is survived by his daughters, Allie Adams and Brooke Jordan, sisters, Dolores (Roger) McKenzie, Donna (Larry) Snell and one grandson, Miles Dominguez. Other family members left to cherish his memory are: Michael and Robin Robinson, Robert and Monica Robinson, Dallas and Julie Long, George and Shannon Hicks, Dori and Mike Gaither, Guy and Rita Robinson and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. The family would like to thank Dr. Dawn Hansen, Tish, Nancy, Gloria and Ms. Margaret Dill with SAAD's Hospice Care, for the sincere, compassionate and loving care they gave during Dale's illness. Also, a very special thank you from the family to Michael and Robin Robinson for always being there and spending endless hours as care givers to their brother-in-law. Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 24, 2008, at 12 noon at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi, where friends may visit from 10 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Vancleave #1 Cemetery.
