Daniel Hover "Danny" Anderson, Sr.

Daniel Hover “Danny” Anderson, Sr., age 74, passed away at his home in Gulfport on Friday, December 20, 2024.

Danny was born on July 22, 1950 in Gulfport to F.L. and Edith Anderson. He graduated from Gulfport High School, class of 1968. Danny Spent 6 years in the U.S. Army Reserves. He was a long-time Saints ticket charter holder and avid sports fan - Saints, Braves, and anything the grandkids played.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Gilbert, Frank, and Wayne Anderson.

Survivors include his wife, Glenda Anderson; son, Danny (Jenny) Anderson; daughter, Kellie (Tom) Lamb; grandchildren, Gage and Lucy Anderson and Layla Liam, and Birdie Lamb; sister, Janice (Mark) Hathcock; and faithful 4-legged son, Leo.

 A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 28. 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Friends may visit one-hour prior to Mass. A reception will follow the service at Depew Hall. There will be a private graveside service at a later date. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport is honored to serve the Anderson family.
