Daniel Keith Grantham

Daniel Keith Grantham, 62, 818 Bluewood Drive, Biloxi, MS 39532, passed away Monday, November, 10, 2014 at Keesler AFB Hospital in Biloxi, MS. Danny was born in Saint Mary’s Hospital in Brooklyn, NY on October 30, 1952, to Helena Grantham Wells of Philadelphia, PA. He was reared by his deceased grandparents, Daniel and Naomi Grantham Best and aunt, Mary Grantham Isler of Goldsboro, NC. Danny was a 1970 graduate of Goldsboro High School. He served his country in the United States Air Force, where he retired as Technical Sergeant on April 2, 1993. He was very family oriented, enjoying his children, grandchildren and loved the Lord. Danny is survived by his wife of 41 years, Roberta Tubbs Grantham; sons, Danny LaMonte and Jasmine Sweeney of Biloxi; daughter, Tyhessia Grantham Lacy and husband Sidney of Biloxi; three grandchildren; four brothers, Ronnie Grantham of Raeford, NC, Michael, Dennis and Carlton Wells of Philadelphia, PA; aunt, Joyce Davis of Jamaica, NY; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14, 2014 at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home from 5pm until 8pm. Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church, 1560 Popps ferry Rd, Biloxi, MS 39532 on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. Burial will follow on Monday, November 17, 2014 at Biloxi National Cemetery, 400 Veterans Avenue in Biloxi, MS.
