Daniel Louis Manuel, age 50, born March 6, 1958, left this world to be with his Savior on January 27, 2009. Danny was home with his beloved wife of 30 years, Kati, and his brother, Ron when he succumbed from a one month bout with cancer. Twenty years ago, Danny left his much-loved Biloxi, where he was born and raised, and moved to Myrtle Beach, SC where he raised his two daughters and welcomed his five grandchildren into the world. Danny was an organizing member of the Easy Feelings Band and played with many well known musicians on the MS Gulf Coast. He always loved his music and was a very talented song writer. He was well known as a fine finishing carpenter and the owner of Superior Woodwork in SC. Danny loved bass fishing and spent many hours with his wife on the Biloxi River, and rivers in and around Myrtle Beach. He also enjoyed camping and NASCAR and attended many races over the years. Danny was preceded in death by his grandparents, Louis John Manuel and Ernestine Tiblier Manuel, Daniel Richard Fayard, Jr., and Alice Page Fayard. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Kati Russell Manuel, two daughters, Danielle Jean and Tiffany Lynn Manuel, five grandchildren, William Chase Tatum, Anthony Michael Lemay, Tylor Daniel Rogers, Kamron Maxwell Rogers and Kendra Alaya Rogers. His father, Wilbur John Manuel, Sr., and the other love of his life, his mother, Jean Fayard Manuel, three brothers, Michael and his wife, Debbie Manuel, Wilbur "Ike" Manuel, Jr., Ronald "Ron" Manuel, two sisters, Donna and her husband, Curtis Harrison, Cora and her husband, David Sewell. Danny is also survived by many nieces and nephews. There will be a Graveside Service, Tuesday, February 3, 2009, 10:00 a.m. at the family Fayard Cemetery in Waveland, MS where he will be laid to rest next to his favorite Aunt Ronnie Fayard Rushing.
