Daniel Sullivan

Mr. Daniel "Dan-O" Sullivan, 64, of Biloxi, MS died Sunday, July 24, 2011 in Gulfport, MS. He was an avid boater, fisherman and sportsman and a mentor for many in life. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend to all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Rita Sullivan and his brother, Richard Sullivan, all of Springfield, IL. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Coleen Sullivan of Biloxi; two daughters, Denise (Rick) Brown of Biloxi, Regina (Darrie) Slay of Gautier; two sons, Richard Sullivan of Biloxi, Daniel "Colby" (Sherri) Sullivan of Vancleave; a sister, Susan Heckenkamp of Pleasant Plains, IL; two brothers, Michael Sullivan of Goodson, MO, Patrick Sullivan of Sudbury, MA; 14 grandchildren and 10 great -grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 27, 2011 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, Biloxi. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, July 28, 2011 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Biloxi at 10:00 a.m.. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to be made to the American Cancer Society, Breast Cancer Fund, 417 Security Square, Gulfport, MS 39507.
