Daniel Joseph Toncrey

Sadly, Daniel J. Toncrey, 40 passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023.  Daniel was a life-long resident of the MS Gulf Coast.  He was a kind and thoughtful person who proudly served his country in the Army National Guard.  As a child, Daniel was an easy-going peacemaker. He was an accomplished automotive painter, most notably at his father’s body shop in D’Iberville, among other locations.

His father, Noll P. Toncrey, his paternal grandparents, Mr. Henry Sr. and Ms. Jacqueline Moran Toncrey and his stepsister, Terry D. Pasley of Jackson, MS, preceded Daniel in death.

Left to cherish Daniel’s memory is his wife, Linda Lou Toncrey, daughter, Taylor Marie Toncrey and step-son, Korbin Mitchell.  He will be missed forever by all that knew him, especially his devoted sister, Laura Michelle Twinn, who was his constant best friend and supporter throughout his life; always on his side and by his side.  His mother, Linda Martin Koewers, his stepfather Chuck Koewers, his stepmother, Gwen Toncrey, and his maternal grandmother, Barbara Bruhnke, also survives him.  Also surviving him include one niece, two nephews, one great-niece and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Daniel left this world too early and we all look forward to reconnecting with him on day in God’s kingdom.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home on Howard Avenue in Biloxi. Friends may visit one hour prior. Interment will follow at D'Iberville Memorial Park.
