Daniel Wayne Fonteno, Sr.

Daniel Wayne Fonteno, Sr., of Biloxi, MS, died Sunday March 23, 2008 in Ocean Springs, MS with his family at his bedside. He was preceded in death by his father, Francis Fonteno, and his mother and step-father, Myrtle and Doug Taylor. Daniel was a member of the IBEW, local 903 in Gulfport. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his three children, Daniel W. Fonteno, Jr. of Gulfport, Dianna (Keith) Britt of Biloxi, and Dane Fonteno of Gulfport; two granddaughters, Tristan Whorton and Trininty Britt. Also survived by three sisters, Vickie Batia of Vancleave, Rebecca (Troy) Wood of Tucson, AZ, and Gina (Jack) Machada of Tucson, AZ; step-mother, Margaret Fonteno of Tucson, AZ, and fiance Tanjilah Rangel and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be Monday, March 31, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi.
