Darlene Ann Kittell

Darlene Ann Spratley Kittell, 72 of Latimer, MS surrounded by family and love went to be with The Lord on Tuesday, March 28, 2023.

She was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and Friend. She loved her family and it showed all throughout her life. She loved to go on adventures, fishing, hunting, playing bingo, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was full of love and family devotion, a trait her children and grandchildren carry on. She had a vivid imagination and looked for the good in everything. She enjoyed being outdoors and nature. She married young to her beloved husband, Basil Kittell, Sr. They started a family of their own that she adored.

Darlene is welcomed in heaven by her husband, Basil Kittell, Sr.; parents, Joseph and Evelyn Spratley; grandson, Kristopher “Kyle” Kittell; siblings, Larry, Billy, and Brenda Spratley; grandparents; great-grandparents; and many other relatives.

She is survived by her children, Basil Kittell, Jr., Katie Malinda Plaisance; grandchildren, Brandon (Samantha) Levine, Phillip Levine, and Miranda Plaisance; great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Kyler “Jax”, Aiden, Brandon Jr., Nicholas, Jason, and Mariah; and many other relatives.

John 11-25 says “Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will LIVE.”
