Darrell Glen Davis

Darrell (Hump) Glen Davis, 54, was born March 21, 1955. Darrell was surrounded by family and friends at the time of his death on July 9, 2009 in Vancleave. Darrell was a lifelong resident of Vancleave. He loved being outside working on lawnmowers and being with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Napleon Bud Davis mother, Ethel Ely Davis, brothers, Buddy Davis and Don Davis. Darrell was survived by seven sisters, Doris Shoemaker, Darlene Shoemaker, Judy Harder, Shirley Shoemaker, Susan Tanner, Kathy Taylor and Rena Winkelhake; two brothers, John Davis and Roger Beaugez. Survivors also include his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family would like to send a very special thanks to Norman and Emery for all the love and care they gave to Darrell. Service will be Monday, July 13, 2009, 12:00 p.m. at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes where friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Interment is in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
