Darvin "Dot" Davis

Mr. Darvin "Dot" Davis, 81, of Ocean Springs, MS, died Friday, December 16, 2011, in Ocean Springs. Mr. Davis was a native and lifelong resident of Jackson County. He retired from Jackson County Beat 4 Barn as a mechanic. He was a member of Bayou Talla Baptist Cherch and attended Antioch Baptist Church and Bethel Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda Jean Davis; son, Allen Ray Davis; parents, Willie and Elmira Ely Davis; great grandson, Joshua Paul; and brothers and sisters. He is survived by three daughters, Ann (Don Edwards) Malley, Becky (Timothy) Asher and Sylvia (Fred) Simmons; son, Tommy (Dena) Davis; twelve grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2011, at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
