Darwin "Donnie" Donald Hill

Mr. Darwin “Donnie” Donald Hill, age 81, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021. Mr. Hill was a longtime resident of Mississippi and attended St. Martin High School. He was the first person to shoot a basketball in the new gym at the high school in 1959. He was voted as Mr. St. Martin in 1959. Mr. Hill proudly served in the Army for 7 years. He enjoyed playing football, baseball and basketball. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Hill and Eleanor Hill; his wife, Carol Hill; and by his brother, Charles Leon Hill. Mr. Hill is survived by his children, Donna (Donald) Glasenapp, Karen Reed, Kerry Hopkins, Jamie (Pam) Hill and Harlon Hill; 14 grandkids; 22 great-grandkids; and by his sisters, Louise Galle and Helen (Julia) Hill. Funeral service will be held at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue in Biloxi, on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. Friends are invited to visit from 6:00 p.m. until service time.
