Darwin Knight Rhodes, Jr.

Darwin Knight Rhodes, Jr., 55, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2011. Darwin served honorably in the U.S. Navy. He was captain of various ships for more than 20 years and loved the sea. He was born to the late Darwin Knight Rhodes, Sr., and Kathleen Elizabeth Carpenter in Charles Co., MD. He is survived by his wife, Chong-Soon Rhodes. He is also survived by 2 brothers, David Johnson and Bertram Rhodes and two sisters, Elaine Rhodes and Darwina Rhodes Marks. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Memorial services will be on Friday, August 26, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Biloxi. Friends may visit from 12:00 p.m. until service time.
