Dave Wesson

Dave Newton Wesson, 42, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 in Ocean Springs. Dave was born in Tokyo, Japan on November 21, 1968. He graduated from Ocean Springs High School in 1986 and attended the University of Mississippi in Oxford, MS and was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray Lamar and Ann Gill Wesson of Ocean Springs; grandparents, Raymond E. and Virginia L. Wesson; and grandfather, Calvin Hall. Survivors include his daughter, Kaitlyn Ann; son, Dylan Lee, both of Ocean Springs; brothers, Ray L. Wesson of Gulfport and Jason M. Wesson of Decatur, GA; a sister, Allison Wesson Pitts of Brentwood, TN; grandmother, Mrs. Jean Hall of Jackson, MS; and six nieces and two nephews. Dave will be lovingly missed by his family and friends, including special friend and soulmate, Stephanie Simnicht of Ocean Springs, MS. He was loved and his life was enriched by many special friends, including Kay Lynn Beemon of Ocean Springs, MS and other mentors in Faith and healing as well as the entire Lemon family of Ocean Springs, MS. A funeral service will be held at St. Paul UMC East Campus at the corner of Hwy. 57 and Hwy. 90 Friday, June 17, 2011 at 2:00 PM where friends may visit from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Ocean Springs.
