David Arbogast

David G. "Dave" Arbogast, Sr., 71, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2012, in Ocean Springs. Dave was born in Minneapolis, MN and has been a resident of the Gulf Coast since 1964. He was a U. S. Air Force Veteran and worked for South Central Bell, retiring from Bell South after 40 years of service. Dave was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He was devoted to his family and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Elsie Arbogast. He is survived by his wife, Theresa Arbogast; daughters, Kim (Tony) Gennarelli and Stephanie Halstead (Mark) Carzoli; sons, David G. (Claire) Arbogast, Jr., Donald S. Arbogast and Ronald W. Arbogast; brothers, James (Peggy) Arbogast and Richard (Karen) Arbogast; eleven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 417 Security Square, Gulfport, MS 39507, or to Jackson County Animal Shelter, 4400 Audubon Drive, Gautier, MS 39553. Visitation is Tuesday, September 4, 2012, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9:45 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
