David E. Hester

David Hester, Coast drummer, joined the Heavenly Rock and Roll Band with the fellow musicians that have preceded him in death, on Saturday, August 14, 2010. He is also preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Rutledge; father, Denom Hester; and brother, Harold Hester. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia; a son, Clayton Hester; granddaughter, Ethne Hester; grandson, Eliott Hester; a sister Joann Owen and her husband Lonnie; many nieces, nephews and friends--to whom he referred to as brothers and sisters. At David's request, relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his life with music and laughter at the family home on Saturday, August 21 at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the David Hester Memorial Fund.
