David E. LaFrance

Mr. David E. LaFrance, age 61, of Ocean Springs passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2008 in Vancleave. David was born in Bay St. Louis, MS. He was married to the love of his life for forty two years and was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He and his wife were owner/operators of Latimer's Country Corner for ten years. He was also employed with Winn-Dixie and Wal Mart as a meat cutter. David had been a resident of the St. Martin community for thirty seven years and a member of Sacred Heart Parish in D'Iberville. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Mr. LaFrance was preceded in death by his father, Lester Joseph LaFrance, Sr. and his nephew, Barry Henley. Survivors include his wife of forty two years, Alice Lackey LaFrance of Ocean Springs; his mother, Annie Mae LaFrance of Bay St. Louis; daughters, Michelle (John) Massey and Robin (Jerrod) Kostmayer all of Ocean Springs; sisters, Peggy Henley of Alabama and Ruby Duncan of Colorado; brothers, L. J. LaFrance, Jr. of Bay St. Louis, Douglas LaFrance of Franklington, LA, Gilbert LaFrance of Kiln, Delbert LaFrance of Kiln and Tommy LaFrance of Bay St. Louis; four granddaughters, Whitley Lamey, Miranda Lamey, Brooke Lamey and Kenadie Kostmayer all of Ocean Springs and grandson, Gracen Kostmayer of Ocean Springs. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes. A Rosary will be held at 1:00 p.m. and a Service will take place at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.
