David Fountain Shivers, Jr.

David Fountain Shivers, Jr. 29, of Gulfport, died Monday, December 7, 2009 in Gulfport. He was born in Pascagoula and had been a resident of Gulfport for twenty-seven years. He enjoyed playing guitar, keyboard and singing for the Lord. He also loved fishing and doing things with his children and family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fountain Shivers, Christine Shivers, and Wanda Rogers. Survivors include his wife, Angel Pendleton Shivers; daughter, Justice and son, Tanner; mother, Patricia Shivers, father, David Shivers; a brother, Jimmie Shivers; and grandfather, Jimmie Eugene Rogers. The funeral service will be Monday, December 14, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport where friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until the service. Interment will follow at Three Rivers Free Church of God Cemetery, Gulfport. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to David Shivers Memorial Fund at any Hancock Bank.
