David Edward Hanna

David Edward Hanna, 54, of Gulfport, MS, passed away peacefully at home Friday, April 5, 2024.

He was born January 30, 1970 in Gulfport, MS, to Hugh B. Hanna, Jr. and D. Gay Fortner Hanna.   David was a graduate of Gulfport High School, Hinds Jr. College and Illinois Institute of Technology.

He was preceded in death by his mother and brother, George Thomas Hanna.

David is survived by his father, children, Burgundy S. Hanna and Joseph S. Hanna, and their mother, April Dana Hanna Rouse; second wife Anne Westbrook Hanna; and his brother, Richard H. Hanna (Lisa).

Funeral Services will be held 3:00pm Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at First United Methodist Church, Gulfport, MS, with visitation starting one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Lakewood Memorial Park, Jackson, MS.
