David Ryan Fitzsimmons

Mr. David Ryan Fitzsimmons, age 19, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Sunday, February 13, 2005, in Ocean Springs. Mr. Fitzsimmons was formerly of Pascagoula and a resident of Ocean Springs for the past three years. He was a junior at Ocean Springs High School where he was active in the Jr. ROTC Program as a Staff Sargeant. He was a member of the National Honor Roll for the years 2003-2004 and 2004-2005. Mr. Fitzsimmons was an accomplished artist and completed a self portrait which hangs in the school. He accomplished all of the tasks he pursued. He was loved by all who knew him. Mr. Fitzsimmons was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James Edward Taylor and his paternal grandparents, Thomas L. and Natalie Tribble Fitzsimmons. He is survived by his mother, Rachel Fitzsimmons Smith and husband, Ed, of Ocean Springs, his father, Thomas W. Fitzsimmons of Louisiana, sister, Reba Hall and husband, Chris, of Watertown, NY, two brothers, Landy Fitzsimmons and Micah Fitzsimmons, both of Ocean Springs, his grandmother, Shirley Wilson of Ocean Springs and great-grandmother, Mattie Mae Alley of Pensacola, FL. Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 16, 2005, from 6-8 PM, followed by a 10 AM chapel service on Thursday, February 17, 2005, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
