David Simmons

Mr. Glenn Simmons, age 48, of St. Martin, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, August 3, 2009. He was born in Biloxi and remained a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. He was employed with the Biloxi Housing Authority, was very skilled in all aspects of plumbing, air conditioning and electrical work and attended Lemoyne Baptist Church in St. Martin. Mr. Simmons was preceded in death by his father, Louis I. Simmons, sister, Doris Melvin and his first wife, Terrie Wilson Simmons. Survivors include his wife, Gail Simmons, daughters, Robyn Ashley Simmons, Wendy (Carl) Grantham and Christy (Brandon) Windecker, two sons, Matthew Simmons and Jason Humphries, his mother, Laura Simmons, sisters, Marie (Jack) Yundt, Helen George and Tracy (Kenny) Mimms, brother, James Simmons and four grandchildren. Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 5, 2009, from 5-8 PM, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Thursday, August 6, 2009, there will be a 10 AM chapel service in the funeral home. Burial will follow in D'Iberville Memorial Park.
