Deanna Mary Castello Evans

Deanna Castello Evans, age 69, peacefully left this earth to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at her home in Larue, MS. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her. Her kind spirit and gracious ways were a blessing to all she touched. Deanna was often referred to as an angel on earth and we rest easily knowing that she is back in heaven amongst those watching over us. Deanna was a native of Biloxi and graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in 1957. She attended MGCCC in Perkinston. She retired from St. Martin School System in 2001 after a long, successful career where she made a lot of cherished, lifelong friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert (Bob) and Ruby Borries Castello of Biloxi and her loving husband of 51 years Frank L. Evans, Sr. of Greenville, MS. Deanna is survived by three children, Frank "Buddy" (Martha) Evans, Jr. and their children, Anthony, Robert and Breanna; Vicky (David) Agate and her son, Glenn Alan "A.J." Stack, Jr., Robert "Bear" (Teri) Evans and his daughters, Morgan and Kristen and their mother, Tina (David) Matthews, all of Biloxi, three great grandchildren, three sisters, Barbara C. (Walter) Nixon of Ocean Springs; Cynthia C. (Dan) Hill of D'Iberville; and Myra C. (John, "Butch") Pierotich of Hurley, as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation is Wednesday, February 4, 2009, 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes, Biloxi. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, February 5, 2009, 11:00 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church where friends may visit 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Interment is in Bosarge Cemetery.
