Debora Pevey Collinsgru

Debora Pevey Collinsgru, 59, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021. She was born June 9, 1962 at Columbus AFB, MS. She grew up in St. Martin, MS and graduated from St. Martin High School in 1980. Debora worked at St Martin Middle School for many years, where she made great friends with coworkers, and inspired students everyday. Debora enjoyed spending time in the kitchen creating delicious meals and treats. She loved to share her creations with her family and friends and those gatherings always included lots of joy and laughter. She was a kind and generous person who was a tremendous blessing to her friends and family and she will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilton and Patricia Pevey, and her brother, Donald Pevey. Debora is survived by her husband, Charles Collinsgru; her children, Rachel (Troy) Gill, Anna Collinsgru, and Lucas Collinsgru; her sister, Lisa (Jimmy) Spicer; her brothers, Fordie and Marlie Pevey; four grandchildren, Austin, Maddie, Memphis and Brantley; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 2pm at Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home on Porter Ave in Ocean Springs. Friends may visit from 1pm until service time.
