Deborah "Debbie" Lynn Wren, age 64 of Bay Minette, AL, passed away on December 31, 2024. She was born Deborah Lynn Marchitto on December 6, 1960, in Biloxi, MS. A proud graduate of Ocean Springs High School, Class of '79, Debbie was known for her vibrant spirit and dedication to her family and community. One of her cherished accomplishments was being crowned the 1977 "Shrimp Queen" for the Biloxi, MS Blessing of the Fleet, and was also voted Miss Congeniality, a testament to her lively personality and community involvement. She furthered her education at MGCCC, earning certification as a director in early childhood development. She also held credentials as a director in early childhood education, demonstrating her commitment to nurturing young minds. Debbie was an active supporter of various charitable causes. She was a long-time donor to the ASPCA and made significant contributions to the North Baldwin Animal Shelter in Bay Minette, reflecting her love for animals and her community. 

 She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph A. and Bernadine J Marchitto.

Debbie is survived by her only daughter, Rebecca Wren Crusey, as well as her two grandchildren, Levi Carter Wren and Makenna Quinn Crusey. She was a devoted mother and a loving grandmother. Her family was her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Debbie's legacy will be remembered through her unwavering love for her family and her vivacious spirit. Her ability to make light of any situation which has resulted in many joyous memories for her family to cherish. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. 

 In accordance with Debbie's wishes, there will be no public service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Mrs. Wren's memory to the North Baldwin Animal Shelter, 1700 McMeans Ave., Bay Minette, AL, or call (251)937-8811.
