Debra Cathleen Allen

Debra Cathleen “Debbie” Allen, 53 of Moss Point, MS passed away on April 8, 2021 in Gulfport, MS. She was born on September 18, 1967 in Omaha, Nebraska to Howard Ham and Marilyn Ham Koehn. Debbie attended Liberty Christian Academy High School and was a member of Jesus Christ Baptist Church. She was employed as a travel agent. Debbie was a loving mother and enjoyed collecting antiques, traveling, and planning trips for others. Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Howard Ham; birth father, Troy Richardson; brother, Rick Ham; and sister, Carol Triplett. She is survived by her husband, Alphonso Allen; mother, Marilyn Ham Koehn; birth mother, Juanita Moore; children, Denise Allen Jones, Rebekah Allen, Grace Allen Oliver, and Alphonso Allen, Jr.; grandchild, Ava Cathleen Jones; siblings, David Ham, Mike Ham, Tim Ham, Clayton, Cary Ham, Randy Ham, Rhonda Ham Cole, Shawn Ham, Debra Edwards, Jackie Foster, and Troy Richardson, Jr.; and pets, Duke and Alex. The family would like to extend a thank you to Pastor Charles McKinney and Mrs. Anna McKinney. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Jesus Christ Baptist Church, P.O. Box 406, Ocean Springs, MS 39566. A private graveside service will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery on April 13, 2021.
